It was as if he'd met us before. For that day he became one of the band. He had a really good way of working and the relaxed atmosphere got the best out of us. He then painstakingly went about mixing our recording, checking every detail. This was done so well you could easily hear the difference. We recorded two tracks and he was so efficient we had the finished articles in our possession as we left. I would have no hesitation in using him again or recommending others use him.     A friend of mine was given a day at Select Studios as a gift and I was invited along for the ride, along with another friend. As a trio we worked with the highly competent Paul to lay down the tracks for two songs. Once that was done, the usual studio magic and trickery was applied and we left that day satisfied with the professional-sounding recording we got out of it. Paul was easy to get along with and we shared ideas as he endeavoured to get the best out of us. The process was a fun and straightforward experience.
