    A friend of mine was given a day at Select Studios as a gift and I was invited along for the ride, along with another friend. As a trio we worked with the highly competent Paul to lay down the tracks for two songs. Once that was done, the usual studio magic and trickery was applied and we left that day satisfied with the professional-sounding recording we got out of it. Paul was easy to get along with and we shared ideas as he endeavoured to get the best out of us. The process was a fun and straightforward experience.

    Being a complete novice in terms of getting my solo work from writing songs on an acoustic guitar in the bedroom to walking out of a recording studio with a mastered CD, i needed a studio that could guide me through the recording process and provide bass, drums and guitars where needed. In 6 hours Select Recording Studios managed to turn my bare bones song into a complete song. The producer Paul Miles was very patient, indulgent and particularly versatile when requested to provide different sounds/different ideas. I am definitely going back!!!!!
